Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has slammed Casemiro and Christian Eriksen for their poor performance in the Red Devils’ 4-0 Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday.
Scholes suggested that the duo should leave Manchester United.
Remember that Crystal Palace dominated, scoring twice in each half, including goals from Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Scholes emphasized Casemiro’s struggles against Olise and questioned Eriksen’s suitability for a club of United’s stature, citing a perceived lack of physicality in midfield.
The former England midfielder said (via HITC): “You think of Casemiro, he is a tough guy to play against. He is been a great player over the years, but it was difficult to watch him because he was mostly on his backside.
“People like Christian Eriksen as well, and the physicality in the middle of the pitch has gone.
“They shouldn’t be at a club of this stature, really.”
