Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League title this season, implying that they will outperform the Gunners.
Seaman shared his thoughts on his podcast, Seaman Says, emphasizing City’s formidable consistency and their inability to drop points.
He predicted that the title race would be decided by accumulated points rather than goal difference, and expressed confidence in Pep Guardiola’s squad’s ability to win their remaining three games and secure the coveted top spot.
Seaman stated, “No [can not see it coming down to goal difference], if I am honest. I can’t see Man City not winning every game, that’s my only problem.
“The only hard game that I see that they’ve got is Spurs away, and the form that Spurs are in at the moment is like Man United.”
Manchester City is currently in second place in the Premier League table, one point behind leaders Arsenal.
The citizens, on the other hand, have a game to play.
